The perfect Easter omelette
Ingredients
for 1 omelet*
- 3 organic eggs
- 1 tbsp (approx. 10 g) A2 goat protein
- 3-4 tbsp water
- Sea salt & black pepper
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
- Herbs e.g. parsley ( fresh, frozen or dried)
- Optional: fillings such as rocket, vegetables, avocado...
*Please vary portion sizes depending on your hunger.
preparation
Preheat a pan with a little olive oil for frying. Meanwhile, whisk 1 tablespoon of A2 goat protein with 2-3 tablespoons of water and 3 eggs until lump-free. This works best with a small whisk.
There are also spices such as salt, pepper, turmeric (for a beautiful yellow color) and herbs (fresh, frozen or dried). Stir everything together thoroughly and add the egg mix to the hot pan. Swirl the egg briefly through the pan, put the lid on and wait about 2-3 minutes until the egg is no longer liquid on the surface.
Carefully turn the omelet over with a spatula and let it cook briefly on the other side for another minute. You can already turn the pan off.
Slide your omelette onto a plate and serve it with, for example, rocket, lamb's lettuce, avocado, sourdough bread...
Bon appetit & happy Easter!
